2、 Compression type tweeter
Compressed tweeters, also known as oscillating panel speakers or corneal speakers, are another type of tweeter compared to dynamic tweeters. The compression type tweeter adopts compression acoustic technology, which amplifies the sound amplitude by forming a compression chamber with a diameter smaller than the turbine size through a tin cup. The main advantage of compressed acoustics technology is its ability to control the amplitude distribution of the speaker diaphragm, thereby achieving efficient and low distortion audio playback. This type of speaker has a simple structure, low energy consumption, stable performance, and is particularly suitable for playing high-frequency sound. It also has good resistance to chemicals. Compared with dynamic tweeters, compression tweeters have a wider response frequency, better response linearity, and less distortion. However, due to the complex tinplate manufacturing technology required for compression type tweeters, the price is relatively high, and the weight is usually larger than that of dynamic coil speakers.
In summary, both types of tweeters have their own advantages and disadvantages, and people can choose according to their own needs and budget when choosing. If you need to play high-frequency sound and want better sound quality and less distortion, a compressed tweeter speaker is a good choice; If more emphasis is placed on price, lightweight, and suitability for voice broadcasting, then dynamic high-frequency speakers would be a better choice.
